Ludwigsburg (OTS)

The Police Dog Handling Squad at Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters is looking for witnesses to a negligent injury incident that occurred at around 8:00 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Bruchwald, Bietigheim-Bissingen. A 53-year-old woman was out with a running group in Bruchwald when she was met by a group of four, including three women, one man, and several dogs, just before the Wald Lounge restaurant. One of the dogs, which was apparently being walked by a man in the group, was not on a leash and jumped at the 53-year-old man, causing a minor injury to his thigh. The 53-year-old man then sought medical treatment and filed a police report. On April 13, 2024, the 53-year-old man met up with the man again in Bruchwald around 8 a.m. and told him about the incident. However, the man reportedly refused to provide his personal information. The dog’s owner is described as a man between 50 and 55 years old, 175 to 180 centimeters tall, with short medium brown hair. On April 13, 2024, he was wearing glasses, light jeans, a blue sweatshirt jacket, and a dark colored jacket over it. The dog appears to be an American bulldog with short, light brown hair. Witnesses who can provide relevant information should call 07141 18-9 or email ludwigsburg.pp@polizei.bwl.de.
