A TikTok video has sparked a heated debate about dogs. Or is it a wolf? See what experts have to say about this friendly animal here.

A video of a woman petting what appears to be a wolf in Canada’s Rankin Inlet community has been circulating on social media platforms for several days. tick tock through the ceiling. This cute movie has been viewed about 2.5 million times so far. A user who posted the clip on her channel @marmaid808 wrote: “I was a little worried… I think I was chosen tonight… My friends think it’s a wolfhound, what do you think?”

Further assumptions made by tick tock– The community includes Huskies, Agouti Huskies, Saarroth Wolfhunds, Alaskan Malamutes, and various mixed breeds. @hey_rayden expresses bad suspicions. “A wolf dog (editor’s note: actually a wolf dog), maybe even a husky. This is actually a very bad breed, as most people can’t stand hybrids and abandon them. It’s sad. I hope that’s not the case here.” When asked about abandonment, Layden added, “Because hybrid cars require a lot of experience, and a lot of owners give themselves up. It depends on the strength of the wolf element.Many people only see how great this animal looks, but unfortunately many people think that it requires a lot of work and work. They don’t know they need an education, they can’t afford it, and they’re overwhelmed by the animal.”

Experts explain: Wolf, wolfdog, husky or malamute?

At the request of IPPEN.MEDIA, Dr. Ursula von Einem of the Federal Association of Practicing Veterinarians said: In some cases, even genetic testing may not be clear. Therefore, only guesses can be made about this breed, from the Alaskan Malamute, already mentioned in the comments, to a mix with a Siberian Husky or some part thereof. “Wolf mixes, on the other hand, are typically “not as trustworthy as this animal,” says von Einem.
