A jogger reportedly sprayed animal repellent into the dog’s eyes at Nonnweiler Reservoir, causing minor injuries to the dog’s owner. The 24-year-old took a walk around the reservoir Saturday with her dog on a leash, just like her. police announced. A 40-year-old man was walking along a hiking trail when he trotted toward the woman and told her to bring the animal to her side, which caused the woman to hug her dog. The jogger then pulled out a spray gun, police said.

Because the pedestrian was standing close to the dog, the dog also received the liquid, as he was told. Both had sore and irritated eyes and red skin, the statement said. The jogger then continued running. Police are currently looking for witnesses.
